The glazed kilns of the west · Workshop lineage

Oristano has fired clay since the giudicati. The workshop we work with still throws bowls and jugs on a slow wheel, then glazes them in the pale greens and tins of west-coast maiolica — tableware meant for fregola, oil, and wine, not a cabinet.
